Zimbabwe out of the 2009 T-20 Trophy
Zimbabwe’s problems finally came to rest when ICC took a decision on the third day of its meeting in Dubai and decided to retain Zimbabwe’s full membership status in the council. Zimbabwe Cricket Union has pulled out of the 2009 Twenty20 World Cup slated in England to avoid their suspension as a full member of the International Cricket Council.
English counties with ICL Players won't play Champions league
The BCCI on Sunday made it clear that English counties having players from the rebel Indian Cricket League won't be allowed to participate in the inaugural Champions Twenty20 Tournament to be held in September-October this year.
PPL renamed T20 Super League
The Pakistan Premier League (PPL) was today renamed Twenty20 Super League by the PCB, which is hoping to stage the event in September next year.

Gony: IPL made me a better bowler
Punjab seamer Manpreet Gony, who was drafted in the India ODI squad for the Bangladesh tri-series, said a successful IPL stint has made him a better bowler and he was looking forward to give his best in his first national assignment. Gony, who replaced in the ODI squad after pacer S Sreesanth was ruled out due to a side strain sustained in an IPL match, described the national call-up as a dream come true.
