Playing in the Indian Premier League has prepared Indian cricketers well for the Twenty20 World Championships and Mahendra Singh Dhoni`s men stand a very good chance of retaining the title, feels BCCI selection committee chairman K Srikkanth.

"Currently the Indian team is balanced and we are going in as defending champion. The Indian Premier League has made the cricketers experienced,” he said.

The team, in England for the event, also has good bowlers like Praveen Kumar and Suresh Raina, he said.

Srikkanth said all pitches in England favoured Indian bowlers.
